We at Deep Astronomy decided to celebrate Earth Day the way we really know how to: bringing perspective. In this special type of "GlobalSelfie", we look at amazing time-lapse footage taken by many astronauts on the International Space Station, pairing it with beautiful orchestration as a somber reminder of how beautiful and fragile our Earth is. All footage is from http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/Videos/CrewEarthObservationsVideos/ "String Impromptu Number 1" -- Kevin MacLeod http://incompetech.com/wordpress/2013/01/string-impromptu-number-1/ If you want weekly space and astronomy news updates, please subscribe to the DeepAstronomy channel.
