As commissioning of james Webb Space Telescope winds down, we are starting to turn our attention to the first year of science observations! One area of intense intense interest will be exoplanet targets. JWST is uniquely designed to confirm whether an exoplanet has an atmosphere and if so, what is that atmosphere made of? These observations will go a long way towards helping us find habitable planets in our galaxy and whether there may be oases of life elsewhere.

Let's talk about some of the first exoplanet targets of James Webb Space Telescope during Cycle 1 observations
